Rules and Regulations

• Film must be 30 minutes or less.


• DVD or VHS for previewing by jurors.


• DVD only for screening if film is selected.


• Submissions are through Withoutabox web site.


• Submitting film to Poppy Jasper Film Festival does not guarantee showcasing of the film. Only finalists and winners, as determined by our panel of Film Jurors will have their film shown at the Poppy Jasper Film Festival.


• Filmmakers are responsible for providing return postage with the submitted film if they wish the film returned. Please include a self-addressed stamped mailer with submission. While the Festival will take precautions to handle films and publicity materials responsibly, the festival, its committee, agents and staff cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage to any materials submitted.


• Filmmakers submit films in a category of their choosing; however, the Poppy Jasper Film Festival Jurors will make the determination as to what category best suits the film for consideration.


• Participation in the Poppy Jasper Film Festival implies understanding and accepting of the Festival rules and regulations.


• Filmmakers, by submitting a film to the Poppy Jasper Film Festival, agree that they have obtained all necessary licenses and release for all artistic material used in their film and agree to hold harmless Poppy Jasper Film Festival organization and Poppy Jasper Film Festival staff from any action brought against Poppy Jasper Film Festival and the film maker for improper use of Intellectual Property and Copy Right protected materials in submitted films.
