To kick off this year's event, Poppy Jasper Film Festival will present the film jurors favorites, selected from the 2006 submissions.

Diane Guerrazzi will be Poppy Jasper Film Festival's Guest Moderator to kick off the beginning of the festival at the Juror's Choice and Reception.
Biography
Diane Guerrazzi is an Emmy-award winning journalist with more than 25 years of experience in television news. Currently she's an independent correspondent for KTVU, Channel 2. She also teaches journalism and communications at Santa Clara University and Gavilan College. She was born and raised in San Francisco, and graduated from UC Berkeley with a double major in Political Science and Italian. She received her Masters in Print Journalism from University of Southern California. She also spent two years studying in Italy at the University of Padua and the University of Padua. She wrote her Masters' thesis about the Vatican newspaper.
